Boot style cuffs are lined and feature rope with tasseled fringe trim and pearl lace and button details.
Complementing vest features the coat fabric for decorative pockets as well as the same style buttons as the coat.
Shoulder seams are in the back of the garment rather than on top of the shoulder making a smother shoulder line. The armseyes are lowered according to the fashion of the time that this coat was popular which will make for some restriction on movement.
The skirt portion of the frock coat features three pleats, one at the back and each side, to allow for the fullness of the hem while maintaining the tailored line of the top. This also allows the coat hem to flair during fast turning maneuvers such as dancing the minuet or fighting a duel.
